Nelda Fern Callaway

Nelda Fern Callaway, 92, of Largo, FL formerly of Pekin, IL passed on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Largo Medical Center. Nelda was born on February 19, 1926 in Pekin, IL to Leonard and Dorothy (Grieser) Hild. She married William L. Callaway on July 1, 1945 in Pekin. He passed away on May 16, 2005. Also preceding in death are her parents. Surviving are: two sons, Kim (Pam) Callaway of Buena Vista, CO and Mark A. Callaway of Fairplay, CO; one daughter, Shawn C. Spink of Parker, CO; four grandchildren, Justin Callaway, Adam Callaway, Kristen Baumgartner and Kaitlyn Spink; four great grandchildren, Brayden, Emma-Kate, Jonah and Wynne Callaway; two brothers, Ron Hild of Clearwater, FL and Gene Hild of Parker, CO; one sister, Carol (Jerry) Duran of East Peoria, IL. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr., Pekin. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
