Nathan C. Parr Jr., 21, of Pekin, IL passed away at 3:00 AM Friday, July 15, 2016 at his home. Nathan was born on September 29, 1994 in Peoria, IL to Nathan C. Parr Sr. and Kathryn Barnes. He was preceded in death by one uncle, Joseph Parr, maternal grandmother, Pamela Rowlen and paternal grandfather, Daniel Barnes. Surviving are: his mother, Kathryn Barnes of Peoria; father and step mother, Nathan C. (Mandy) Parr Sr. of Creve Coeur, IL; two sons, Brayden C. Severns-Parr and Zaydren Severns-Parr both of Washington, IL; significant other, Samantha Severns of Washington; one brother, Christopher Parr of Pekin; step sister, Kassandra Mendez of Creve Coeur; maternal grandparents, Pamela and Daniel Barnes of Peoria, paternal grandparents, Joseph B. (Joan) Parr of Peoria, maternal great grandmother, Margaret Skinner of Peoria and paternal great grandmother and Lucy Rowlen of Harrisburg, IL. Nathan was a drywall finisher for Nathan Parr Drywall. He loved to draw, listen to music and play X-Box, but his most favorite thing to do was spend time with his two boys. Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded after the services. Memorial contributions may be made for his children in care of Samantha Severns.
