Nancy J. Healy

Nancy Jane Healy (ne Hancock), born on October 10, 1954, in Peoria, Illinois, passed away on June 28, 2024, in Pekin, Illinois. Known for her fun-loving, hilarious, loving, caring, and compassionate nature, Nancy made an indelible mark on everyone she met. Nancy graduated from Pekin Community High School, worked for the Tazewell County Health Department, the city of Lafayette, CO and Storage Technology Corporation. She was often found socializing and caring for others, which reflected her innate compassion. Her faith played a significant role in her life, as she was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Immaculate Conception Church in Lafayette, CO, and St. Paul's UCC. Nancy is survived by her son, Brendon Healy; her sister, Sue Ann (Jack) Kortkamp; and was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Lorraine Hancock, and her husband, Kevin Healy. A Memorial Mass will be at 11:00 AM Friday, July 5, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Michael Andrejek as Celebrant. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM 11:00 AM Friday at the church. Interment will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the OSF HealthCare Illinois Neurological Institute Multiple Sclerosis Center or The Society of St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry, honoring Nancy's lifelong commitment to helping others.
