Nadine Fox

Nadine Kathryn Fox, 90, of Peoria, IL passed away at 6:40 pm Friday, December 4, 2009 at her son's home in Lacon, IL. Nadine was born July 26, 1919 in Pekin, IL to Walter and Juliet (Koeppe) Heisel. She married John T. Fox on October 27, 1946 in Pekin. He died on September 24, 1996. Surviving are two sons, Wally (Diana) Fox of Lacon, IL and Tom (Sherie) Fox of St. Peters, MO; four grandchildren, Mark Fox of Alexandria, VA, Vicki Fox of Lacon, IL, Betsy (Todd) Hall of Springfield, IL and Jennifer (Dan) Bridgewater of East Peoria, IL; ten great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Kemp of Peoria, IL and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two great grandchildren. She devoted her entire life to her family, was an avid flea marketer and loved to travel. She was a life long member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Pekin, a charter member of the JOY Society, a past Sunday School Teacher and sang in the choir. She worked at Farmers Auto Insurance Company and later was an assistant to Dr. Ellen Timmer in Peoria.
