Milton Bullard

Milton Bullard, 93, of North Pekin, IL passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the LaSalle Veteran's Home in LaSalle, IL. Milton was born on December 11, 1923 in St. Louis, MO to Claude and Myrtle (Reno) Bullard. He married Josephine Hobbs on August 17, 1962 in Peoria, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Leonard and Austin Bullard. Surviving are: his wife, Josephine of North Pekin; six children, Marsha Harbin of Jackson, TN, Nathan (Linda) Bullard of Marquette Heights, IL., Bryce Bullard of Creve Coeur, IL, David (Mitzi) Hobbs of Naperville, IL, Russell (Faith) Hobbs of Raymore, MO, Kapina (Michael) Williamsen of Lee Summit, MO; ten grandchildren, Elijah Hobbs, Melody (Caleb) Brueck, Ivy (James) Villa, Joseph (Amanda) Hobbs, Hannah (Nathaniel Franklin) Frye, Joelle Frye, Emily Bullard, Carolyn (Brian) Markey, Justin (Jenny) Hobbs, Camille (Dan) Walker and Janine (Christian) Pilapil; many great grandchildren. Milton was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the 3rd Armored Division, considered the spearhead of the war. He worked at Caterpillar, Inc. for over 30 years retiring in 1986. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pekin. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 4, 2017 at War Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Pekin with Dr. Russell Hobbs officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Army and the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team. The arrangements have been entrusted to Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory in Pekin. There will be a gathering of family and friends at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 4th at the First Missionary Church, 114 Lincoln Blvd, North Pekin, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to First Missionary Church in North Pekin.
