Millicent A. Sheppert

Millicent A. Sheppert, 93, of Morton, IL formerly of Pekin passed away at 12:42 am Monday, March 17, 2008 at Apostolic Christian Restmor, Inc. in Morton. She was born September 3, 1914 in Peoria, IL to Virgil A. and Clara A. (Parsons) Johnson. She married Richard A. Sheppert on June 9, 1933 in Pekin. He passed away on April 4, 1984. Also preceding in death are her parents and one brother, Melvin. Surviving are: one daughter, Carol A. (and Charles) Fort of Morton; two grandchildren, Brenda (and Eric) Overbey of Elkhart, IN and Kevin (and Staci) Fort of Goshen, IN; five great grandchildren, Emily, Nathan and Audrey Overbey, Beau Dries and Haili Fort. Millicent was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pekin and had attended Morton United Methodist Church for the last seven years. She is a former member of the National Rural Letter Carriers Association Auxiliary and the Celestial City Campers.
