Michael F. Thomas, 60 of Pekin, passed away at 6:43 am Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Pekin Hospital. Mike was born April 7, 1952 in Pekin to Floyd W. and Geraldine (Bolson) Thomas.He married Laura Phillips December 18, 1976 in Pekin. He was preceded in death by his father. Mike is survived by his wife, Laura; one daughter, Brandy Thomas; three grandchildren, Dakota, Sierra, and Cheyenne Tuttle; his mother Gerry Thomas; one sister, Vicky (Chris) Chasco all of Pekin; and several nieces and nephews. Mike was a member of NRA, Tremont Sportsman Club, and UAW#974.He loved the Chicago Bears. Mike worked as a machinist for Caterpillar retiring October 31, 2000. Visitation will be Friday, January 11, 2013 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Home in Pekin. Honoring Mike's love of the Bears, wear your Bear attire to his visitation.
