Michael R. Mcknight

Michael R. McKnight, 42, of 1624 Highwood Avenue in Pekin passed away at his residence at 6:15 PM on Sunday, June 5th. He was born on August 1, 1968 in Peoria to Myrna Koch. Surviving are his mother, Myrna Dentino of Eureka, one son, Shane McKnight of Deer Creek and one daughter, Ashley McKnight, also of Deer Creek; two sisters, Michelle McKnight of Champaign, IL and Sandra Woods of Morton, IL. He worked as a laborer for several construction companies in Central Illinois.Michael was an avid bowler and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends as well as his beloved cat, Tigger. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 8th at 11:00 AM at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, 415 West Chatham Street in Metamora.Burial will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Metamora.
