Mary L. Hodgson

Mary L. Hodgson, 90, of Pekin, IL passed away at 12:10 PM Friday, February 14, 2025 at Pekin Manor. Mary was born on January 6, 1935 in Peoria, IL to Herbert H. and Isabell (Crooks) Counterman. She married Jerome Hodgson on February 23, 1955. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Raymond S. Hodgson. Surviving are her husband, Jerome of Pekin, one brother, Don (Brenda) Counterman of Pekin and one sister, Carol Dwyer of Manito, IL. Mary was a hard-working woman who was always willing to help her friends and relatives in their time of need. She had worked at several area restaurants including the Sky Ranch, Blue Spruce and Normandy Club. She also worked at several area beauty salons. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory. Private burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
