Mary Hasty

Mary Hasty, 71, of Groveland, IL passed away at 11:55 PM Sunday, September 16, 2018 at her home. Mary was born on September 30, 1946 in Pekin to Matt and Helen (Grant) Brady. She married Charles W. 'Chuck' Hasty III on November 14, 1970 in Pekin, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and twin daughters, Catherine and Carolyn Hasty. Surviving are: her husband, Chuck of Groveland; one son, Chuck (Julie) Hasty IV of Morton, IL; one daughter, Sara Hasty of Pekin; three grandchildren, Ethan Vaughn, Sam and Charlie Hasty; two sisters, Alma (Louis) Betts of Andalusia, IL and Janet (Steve) Murray of Lacon, IL. Mary had worked as an office manager for Lincoln National Life Insurance Company. Mary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. She enjoyed shopping and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 11:30 AM Friday, September 21, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin with Father Michael Andrejek officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Thursday, September 20th at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr., Pekin. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospitals for Children.
