Mary A. Guritz

Mary Ann Guritz, 74, of Pekin, IL passed away at 6:10 AM Thursday, December 10, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. Mary was born on September 17, 1946 in Chicago, IL to George and Marion (Hollister) Neidhardt. She married Curtis Guritz on February 5, 1966 in Franklin Park, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents. Still kicking are: her husband, Curtis of Pekin; three daughters, Laura (Jess) Richmond of Yorkville, IL, Wendy (Jerrod) Bross of Simpsonville, SC and Leanne Guritz-Rodgers of Island Lake, IL; six grandchildren, Megan, Trent, Morgan, Jansen, Colton and Grant; one sister, Patricia (John) Condis of Pekin, Il. Mary was an Administrative Assistant for School District #118 in Wauconda, IL retiring in 1998. She enjoyed traveling, reading and shopping. She was an avid Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks fan. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Private services will be held Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Heather Robertson officiating. Cremation will be accorded after the services.
