Mary E. Gray

Mary E. Gray 93, of Pekin passed away at 9:54 am Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Pekin Manor. She was born December 8, 1921 in Pekin to George and Alta (Nash) Wooding.She married Melvin Gray on September 27, 1942. He passed away December 9, 1992. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Melvin Jack Gray; four sisters; and three brothers. She is survived by two brother-in-laws; five sister-in-laws; and several nieces and nephews. Mary was a homemaker who loved to bake, crochet and sew. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Friday, January 23, 2014 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory in Pekin with a visitation from 10:00 am - 11:00 am prior to service.Rev. Johnnie Creasong. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
