Martin V. Rosenswipe

Private First Class Martin V. 'Marty' Rosenswipe II, 22, of Arlington, VA formerly of Pekin passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in Arlington, VA. Marty was born on February 25, 1994 in Pekin to David and Belinda Rosenswipe. He married Allison Ginger on September 29, 2012 in Pekin. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Rosalie Rosenswipe and uncle, Gary Rosenswipe. Surviving are: his grandparents who raised him, Ronald and Donna Rippey of Pekin; his wife, Allison of Arlington VA; mother, Belinda Rosenswipe of Pekin; father, David Rosenswipe Sr. of Canton, IL; brother, David Rosenswipe Jr. of Pekin; paternal grandfather, Martin Rosenswipe of Canton, IL; aunt and uncles, Judith (Darrell) Lemons and Ronald (Debbie) Rippey both of Pekin; several cousins. Marty was a graduate of Pekin Community High School where he was active in ROTC. He enlisted in the United States Army in 2012 and was currently serving in the Caisson Unit at Arlington National Cemetery. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM Friday, April 8, 2016 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin with Chaplin D'acci officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Thursday, April 7 at the funeral home. Burial with military honors by the United States Army will be at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.
