Marsha Kaczmarek

Marsha W. Kaczmarek, 85, of Canton, IL passed away at 7:50 AM Tuesday, August 4, 2023 at The Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing Center of Canton.

Marsha was born on November 4, 1940 in Chicago Heights, IL to Gene and Irene (Jurs) Steger. She married David G. Kaczmarek on August 21, 1965 in Steger, IL. He preceded in death on December 10, 2023.

Surviving are: one son, David (Anne) Kaczmarek of Mapleton, IL; three grandchildren, Connor, Abbigail and Benjamin; two great grandchildren, Ivy Mae and Blakley Anne.

Marsha retired from Davea Center Trade School Addison, IL as the Dean of Students. She was a former member of the Byron Women’s Club. She enjoyed traveling on Crystal Cruises, cooking and gardening.

Private graveside services will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens with Rev. Heather Robertson officiating. Henderson Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with Marsha’s arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Illinois or the American Red Cross.
