Mark A. Madden

Mark A. Madden, 74 of Pekin, passed away at 1:34 pm, Friday, June 16, 2023 at OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. He was born in Peoria to George James & Myra Marie (Harris) Madden on July 16, 1948. Mark was preceded in death by; his parents; and one brother, Kelly Madden. He is survived by; his girlfriend, Cathy McClure of Morton; one daughter, Katrina (Shawn) Fischer of Pekin; one son, Eric (Kim) Madden of AZ, one sister, Teri Mills of Marquette Heights, one brother, Steve Madden of Pekin; four grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren and many cherished nieces and nephews. Mark served the United States Army in the Vietnam Conflict. He attended Illinois Central College for mechanic training. Mark was a Christian man, and worshiped at Prairie Bible Church in Delavan and New Life Fellowship in Pekin. He worked at Keystone Construction, Diamond Star where he retired from, & Mitsubishi. He was a NY Yankees and Indianapolis Colts fan. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, fishing, playing basketball and going out to eat. His greatest joy in life was his daughter, and time spent with his family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at New Life Fellowship, 1010 Derby St, Pekin, IL with Pastor Mark Utech officiating. A visitation will be held immediately prior also at the church from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Army and the Tazewell Military Rites Team. Cremation will be accorded after the service.
