Marjorie T. Mcconnell

Marjorie T. McConnell, 90 of 1500 Parkside St. in Morton passed away at 3:30 pm Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Apostolic Christian Restmor, Inc. Marjorie was born April 17, 1918 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Emery A. and Marie (Grant) Turner. She married Donald W. McConnell in 1937 in Wenona, IL. Preceding her in death are her husband, one son Martin I. McConnell, one daughter Rebecca Jane Keane, two infants, two sisters and one brother. Surviving is: one grandson, Donald McConnell of New York, NY; one granddaughter, Terra Jane McConnell of Massachusetts; several nieces and nephews including Patricia (Mike) Bussone of Pekin. Marjorie was a Librarian for District 102 in North Pekin for several years. She also worked for the Illinois State Library in Springfield. She loved cooking, quilting and reading. She also enjoyed fishing and camping.
