Marita A Goss

Marita was born on March 12, 1934 in Peoria, IL to Herbert and Eloise G. (Jones) Webb. She married Robert L. Goss Sr. on December 7, 1950. He passed away on October 2, 2006. Also preceding in death are her parents, step father, Leo Swisher, one sister, Donna Wolfe and one brother, Ike Webb. Surviving is: three children, Robert L. (Diane) Goss Jr. of Bartonville, IL, Melodie (Tony) Roby of Pekin and Brad (Marsha) Goss of Pekin; nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; one brother, Mark Webb of Pekin; two sisters, Diane (Ron) Richardson of Pekin and Penny (Ed) Graber of Farmington, IL. Marita and her husband had owned the former Gamble Store in downtown Pekin. She later worked at Walgreens when it was next to Schnucks. She was a member of the Pekin Union Mission. She enjoyed bowling and doing word search puzzles. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 28th at the funeral home. Burial will be Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
