Marilyn Ruth Springer

Marilyn Ruth Springer, 92 of Morton passed away at 5:10 pm, Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Aperion Care in Morton. She was born to Clifford E. and Ruth A. (Lance) Springer in Chicago on August 25, 1930. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Eugene Springer and sister-in-law Doris Springer. She is survived by; one brother, Alan Springer of Pekin; two nephews, Mark (Jeri) Springer of Sparta, NC, Greg (Heather) Springer of Atwater, OH; three nieces, Robin Wittmer of Pekin, Cathy (Carl) Powell of Pekin, Sanda Daniels of Canfield, OH; one sister-in-law, Barbara Springer of Youngstown, OH and many great nieces and nephews. Marilyn was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. She retired from General Dynamics and lived most of her life in California before moving to Pekin to be close to her brother and his family. She enjoyed painting, playing Bingo and listening to piano music by Heather at Aperion. Cremation has been accorded and inurnment will be at a later date in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin. Memorials may be made in Marilyns name to T.A.P.S. or St. Joseph Building Fund
