Marian E. Michael

Marian E. Michael, 88, of Pekin died at 8:30 am Monday, November 08, 2010 at her home. Marian was born on August 15, 1922 in Pekin to Karl B. and Myrtle Louise (Schrieber) Liescheidt. She married Edwin B. Michael on January 25, 1942 in Pekin. He died on March 9, 1983 in Pekin. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John Liescheidt. Surviving is: one daughter, Gloria (Ronald) Knautz of Pekin; two grandchildren, Keith (Ellen) Knautz of Batavia, IL and Karlyn (Tom) Hoffmann of Carol Stream, IL; four great grandchildren, Justin, Nathan and Brandon Knautz and Dennis Hoffmann. Marian was a secretary at WABCO- Dresser Industry for fourteen years retiring in 1984. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Bethlehem Society, former Guild member and Sunday school teacher. She was also a former troop leader for the church Girl Scout Troop.
