Margie Jo Lawrence-Sisler

Margie Jo Lawrence-Sisler, 56, of Pekin, IL passed away at 2:15 PM Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at her home. Margie was born on June 12, 1963 in Pekin, IL. She married John Sisler on June 18, 2005 in Pekin. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father. Surviving are : her husband, John of Pekin; three brothers, Robert (Carol) Farlin of Pekin; Michael (Cornice) Farlin of AZ; Ron (Missy) Farlin of St. Francis, MN; and four sisters, Mary (Raye) Blanquart of Mapleton; Marsha Westfall of East Peoria; Kim (Denise Durrell) Farlin of Dunlap; and Sally (Ron) Doty of Manito. Margie was of the Christian faith. She was a teacher's assistant at Robert Jamison School, lasting working Tuesday, November 5. She loved her work with the students. She ran the Santa Shop that rewarded good behavior by the students by awarding credit to be spent in the shop. She liked to listen to music, cooking, visiting museums with her husband and taking her two dachshunds, Daber and Dotty on walks. She especially loved her school children. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 pm, Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Lake Camelot Clubhouse to honor Margie's life. Cremation has been accorded. Memorial contributions may be made to Margie's Santa Shop at Robert A.
