Margery Phillips

Margery Phillips, 88, formerly of Ridgway, IL passed away at 2:25 am Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 1905 Vicksburg Ct., the home of her daughter. Margery was born April 11, 1919 near Omaha, IL, to Luther and Cleada Carroll Edwards. She married Orlan 'Pete' Phillips on April 19, 1939, in Junction IL. She is survived by two daughters, Connie Disney of Pekin, and Rita (Ken) Patrick of Princeton, TX; four grandchildren, Brian (Lisa) Disney of Peoria, Jo (Aaron) Johnson of Morton, Joan Patrick of Plano, TX, Leslie Patrick of Denton, TX and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Pete on March 15, 1982; sisters, Elsa Mitchell and Artie York; brothers, Amos and Harold Edwards; grandson, Michael Disney and son-in-law, Bill Disney. She was a member of the Omaha General Baptist Church in Omaha, IL. She was devoted to her church and serving the Lord. Her generous heart, fantastic memory and great sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her, especially her family.
