Margaret A. Novak

Margaret A. Novak, 81, of Pekin, formally of Lewistown, passed away at 4:24 AM Monday, September 09, 2019 at Timbercreek Rehab & Health Care in Pekin. Margaret was born September 10, 1937 in Chicago, IL to Israel and Anna (Kaminski) Bedoian. She married Eugene B. Novak on February 9, 1955 in Calumet Park, IL. He passed away October 2, 2013. She is also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter Linda Novak; one sister, Mary Wodziak, and one brother, Pete Bedoian. She is survived by one son, David Novak of Lewistown, IL; three daughters, Carol Luncsford of Peoria Heights, Debra (Michael) Slaight of Oak Forest, IL and Anna (Troy) Michels of Pekin; three brothers, John (Judy) Bedoian of Texas, Charles Bedoian of Illinois and Bobby (Pat) Bedoian of Illinois; five grandchildren, Jenny (Kyle) Wagner, Tiffany Long, Julie (Joe) Reith, Holly Smith and Destiny Novak; and four great-grandchildren. Margaret was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Lewistown. She enjoyed bowling, camping, four wheeling, sewing and crocheting afghans. She loved her family and grandchildren dearly. After the passing of her daughter 2004, she became Destiny's adopted mother and took her in to raise her.
