Margaret Glass

Margaret Glass, 94, of Aurora, IL and formerly of Pekin died on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at her home in Aurora. Margaret was born on July 24, 1916 in Dillon Township, Tazewell County, Illinois to Artie and Gertrude (Morris) Studyvin. She married Earl Wilson Glass on July 4, 1940 in Pekin, IL. He died on January 25, 2008 in Pekin. Also preceding in death are one daughter, Barbara Ann Cooley, one sister, Frances Studyvin and one brother, John Studyvin. Surviving are: one granddaughter, Erin (and AJ) Saling of Yorkville, IL;two great grandchildren, Alexander and Zachary Saling of Yorkville, IL; one sister, Alta Boucher of East Peoria, IL. Margaret was a member of the First Christian Church in Pekin. She worked at Pekin Insurance for 39 years retiring on May 1, 1979 and was a member of the 25 year Club at Pekin Insurance.
