Lydia L. Mcbride

Lydia L. McBride, 89, of Pekin passed away at 12:20 pm Saturday, August 22, 2009 at her home. Lydia was born January 14, 1920 to John E. and Clara (Charleson) Reuling. She married George L. McBride on June 4, 1946 in Pekin. She was preceded in death by four brothers and eleven sisters. Surviving is: her husband, George of Pekin; one son, Steve (Jennifer) McBride of Pekin; three grandchildren, Kelley, Jerrod and Stacy McBride all of Pekin; six nieces, nine nephews and thirty-one great nieces and nephews. Lydia worked at Standard Brands in earlier years. She enjoyed sewing, embroidering and flower gardening. Lydia was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin.
