Lucille B. Knaak

Lucille B. Knaak, 94, of of Pekin, IL passed away at 7:15 PM Thursday, March 25, 2021 at her home. She was born on January 5, 1927 in Pekin to Leonard and Luella (Timke) Meisinger. She married Henry F. Knaak on May 26, 1946. He passed away on July 18, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Marjorie and Lenora, and one brother, Harold. Surviving are: one daughter, Cheryl (Stephen) Bong of Manito; one brother, Bill (Louise) Meisinger of New Jersey; four grandchildren, Brian (Andrea Crary) Bong, Jeff (Amanda) Bong, Raven (Travis Humphreys) Bong and Cassandra Vaupel. Lucille was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church Sand Prairie in Green Valley. She lived most of her life on the farm working and spending time with her family. She worked in the China Department at Bergners for several years. Lucille loved her family above all adored spoiling her grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 30,2021 at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Green Valley with Pastor Chris Sansom and DCE Bill Krueger officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior from 10:00-11:00 AM also at the church. Burial will be in Sand Prairie Cemetery. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements.
