Louise J. Laesch

Louise J. Laesch, 81, of Pekin died at 5:41 am Tuesday, November 02, 2010 at Hallmark House Nursing Center. Louise was born on January 1, 1929 in Woodford County, IL to Carl E. and Marie C. (Schultz) Kath Sr. She married Howard H. Laesch on January 2, 1949 in Danvers, IL. He died on October 14, 1977. Also preceding in death are her parents, one sister, Wilhelmina Frevert, one brother, George Kath and one grandson, Shawn Robertson. Surviving is: one son, Harlan (Shelly) Laesch of East Peoria, IL; two daughters, Jane (Ronald) Hawkins of Deer Creek, IL and Pamela (John) Wibben of Tremont, IL; eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; three sisters, Florence Grunert of Mackinaw, Leota (William) Kaufman of Danvers, IL, Viola Tobias of Morton, IL; one brothers, Carl (Christine) Kath Jr. of Morton, IL and one sister-in-law Doris Kath of Cooksville, IL. Louise was a receptionist at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria for 23 years retiring in September 2003. She was a member of William Schaefer Post 44 American Legion and its Gavel Club. She was a member of Tazewell County Salon of 8 et 40 and St. Johns Lutheran Church in Pekin.
