Louise Brickner

Louise Brickner, 93 of Pekin, passed away at 3:33 am, Saturday, July 22, 2023 surrounded by family at OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born to Frederick and Louise (Rapp) Duhs on December 12, 1929 in Peoria, IL. She married L. Louis Brickner on January 1, 1949 in Peoria, IL. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2014. Louise was also preceded in death by; her parents; one brother, Herman Duhs; and two sisters, Irma Bauer and Arlene Krause. She is survived by; one son, Robert (Jan) Brickner of Morton, IL; two daughters, Susan (Harold) Wertz of Pekin and Linda (Alan) Kupper of Dunlap, IL; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Louise was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Pekin, where she served in the Ladies Guild. Private Graveside Services will be on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin with Rev. Daniel Bishop officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Johns Lutheran Church, 711 Court St, Pekin, IL 61554. Arrangements have been entrusted to Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory in Pekin.
