Lori C. Mcdonald

Lori C. McDonald, 49, of 444 Parkway Dr. Apt. 711, Pekin passed away at 1:52 pm Sunday, January 4, 2009 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria after a long and courageous battle with diabetes and kidney failure. She was born on May 29,1959 in Pekin to Lee and Jennice (Smith) McDonald. She was preceded in death by her mother. Surviving are: her father and step mother, Lee (Shirley) McDonald of Pekin; one brother, Greg (Wendy) McDonald of Pekin; one niece, Micaylan McDonald, of Pekin; one nephew, Derek McDonald, of the USAF, Phoenix, AZ; her caretaker and friend, Debbie Madden; and two canine nieces, Macey & Princess. She graduated from PCHS in 1977, from ICC in 1983 and Sangamon College in 1985 with a bachelor degree in computer programming. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin. She was a strong Christian woman who enjoyed spending time with her family, spoiling their dogs, computers, country music and the St. Louis Cardinals.
