Lori R. Dillon

January 18, 1956 — July 28, 2021

Lori R. Dillon, 65, of Pekin, passed away at 11:50 pm, Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at her home. She was born to Raymond & Bonnie (Vehlow) Dillon one January 18, 1956 in Pekin. They preceded her in death. She married Bill Isenmann in 1976. From this union came one infant son, Derek, who preceded her in death, and one daughter Libby (Matt Engelmann) Isenmann of Portland, OR. She met Brent Glassey in 1987 and their love story began soon after. The two brought together a wonderful, blended family, with Libby and Lori's stepson, Brad (Rachael) Glassey of Pekin. She treasured their two grandchildren, Avery and Mitchell Glassey. Lori was a graduate of Pekin High School. She co-owned Bonnie's Boutique with her mother, and the two also opened Little Bits, a children's clothing store in Pekin. She loved fashion, a trait passed on from her mother, Bonnie, and the wonderful relationships with co-workers during the Boutique years which cultivated treasured friendships. Her daughter Libby, who was the light of her life, was fortunate to spend her childhood with her mother, grandmother and those friends at the Boutique. Libby began swimming at a very early age. Lori was her number one supporter from Sunset Hills Pool through high school swimming. From an early age with her parents, Lori learned the love of travel and went many places. With her life partner Brent, she continued to travel. The two truly enjoyed life to the fullest and shared a genuinely deep love. They spent months at a time in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, for twenty years, always the highlight of her year. Her favorite times were next to a pool in the sun surrounded by her friends, including many who also traveled to Puerto Vallarta every winter. Lifelong dear friend Marcie Stuckell was always with her for their next adventure. Marcie and Lori loved fashion, celebrated their birthdays together with a special shopping trip each year, and were each other's closest confidants. Lori was taken from us quickly and far too soon. She will be forever missed by family and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorials may be made in her name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
