Lorena J. Phillips

Lorena J. Phillips, 84, of Pekin, passed away at 6:20 am Sunday, October 7, 2007 at Rosewood Care Center of East Peoria. Lorena was born September 2, 1923 in Pekin to Everett and Susie Neuhaus Dobbins.She married Clyde Phillips August 16, 1948.He passed away October 27, 1975. Also preceding her in death are two brothers and one sister. Surviving are one daughter, Stacie Myrick of Pekin, two granddaughters, Stephanie (Jack) Sigan of Schaumburg, IL and Kristin Myrick of Macomb, IL. She enjoyed her pinnacle card club, cooking and sewing.Lorena loved to be with her granddaughters.She had worked as a bookkeeper for Mauries Bookstore from 1976-2000. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church of Pekin.
