Lois Oedewaldt

Lois Oedewaldt, 85, of Pekin passed away at 8:45 AM Tuesday May 10, 2016 at Hallmark House Nursing Center in Pekin. Lois was born on August 3, 1930 in Orchard Mines, IL to Cevial and Theresa (DeMarini) Madalozzo. She married Earl Oedewaldt on February 12, 1950 in Bartonville, Illinois. He passed away on April 7, 2010. Also preceding her in death are her parents and one brother, Dave. Lois is survived by one sister-in-law, Rose Ann Madalozzo of Tarboro NC; two nieces, Tanya (Sam) Odom of Pfafftown, NC; Anita Madalozzo of Cornelius, NC;several great nieces and great nephews; and two Goddaughters, Althea (John) Geiser of Pekin; Shireen (Alex) Bacchetti of Naperville, IL. Lois and her husband Earl owned Oedewaldt-Phillips 66 gas station in Pekin for many years. She enjoyed fishing and her greatest joy was fishing with her husband. Lois was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pekin. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday May 16, 2016 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Drive Pekin. Rev. Judy Doyle will be officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory with additional visitation Monday May 16, 2016 from 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM.
