Lois Jean Jarvis

Lois Jean Jarvis, 86 of Pekin, IL passed away at 3:40 AM Friday, May 19, 2023 at Carle Health Pekin Hospital. Jean was born April 23, 1937 at North City, IL to John and Ruth Margaret (Arterberry) Tolotti. She first married Robert Harsy. She then married Richard E. Jarvis. He passed away on May 8, 2022. Also preceding her in death are her parents, one great granddaughter, Bella DeFalco, one brother, John Tolotti, one sister, Marie Williamson. Surviving are: two sons, Robert "Bob" (Cindy) Harsy of Port Charlotte, FL and Richard Eugene (Mike) Sigler-Jarvis of Palm Harbor, FL; one daughter, Pamela Jean (Curt) Woolsey of Pekin; five grandchildren, Eugene "Geno" (Laurie) Woolsey of Mahomet, IL, Tisha (Jeremy) Harms of Pekin, Jeffrey Richard Jarvis of Littleton, CO Caleb Harsy of Chicago, IL and Naomi (Anthony) DeFalco of Las Vegas, NM; six great grandchildren, Addisen, Alexis, Miles, Lillian, Erin and Aiden; one brother, Ron (Carly) Tolotti of Ferndale, WA and one sister, Glenda Harris of Pekin. Jean was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Pekin. She enjoyed doing crafts and needle point. She collected swans and anything to do with "Gone with The Wind". Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Pekin with Pastor Daniel Bishop officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM 11:00 AM Wednesday at the church. Inurnment will be at a later date in Glendale Memorial Gardens. Cremation has been accorded.
