Lois M. Becker

Lois M. Becker 99 of Hennepin, formerly of Pekin passed away at 10:11 pm, Wednesday, December, 27, 2023 at her home. She was born on June 6, 1924 in South Pekin to Floyd A and Margaret (McCarthy) Heaton. She married Melvin L. Becker on January 1, 1942 in Pekin. He preceded her in death on December 18, 2010. Lois was also preceded by; her parents; two sons Donald and Randal; daughter in law, Margaret Becker; one brother, William Heaton; one half brother, Richard Heaton; and step-sister, Maxine Phipps. She is survived by; one daughter-in-law, Linda Becker of Peoria; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Lois was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Pekin where she was a member of the Bethlehem Society. A private graveside service will be held at Sand Prairie Cemetery in Green Valley with Pastor Daniel Bishop officiating. Cremation has been accorded. Memorials may be made to St. Johns Lutheran Church, Pekin or Good Sheppard School.
