Lisa Renee Riviere

Lisa Renee Riviere, 55 of Pekin passed away at her home at 8:15 am, Friday, March 24, 2023. She was born to Thomas & Barbara (Murphy) Dunniway in Pekin on August 26, 1967. She married Lance Riviere on August 16, 1991 in Pekin. Lisa is preceded in death by her father, daughter Grace; grandson Gregory Jablonski II; and niece, Kristin Dunniway. She is survived by; her husband, Lance, mother Barb; two daughters, Rachel Spires of Washington and Hannah (Brady) Topping of Lakewood, CO; two grandchildren, Rhianna, and Thomas; and two brothers, Allen (Josie) Dunniway and Thomas (Julie) Dunniway both of Pekin; and her best buds, Layla her dog, and Rosey her chinchilla. Lisa was an accountant, working as a bookkeeper for National Marine in Chillicothe, last working Thursday, March 23, 2023. She always had a spotless house, she enjoyed cleaning. Lisa was an avid reader, did yoga, loved to hike, and listening to music. She was so kind hearted and found friends wherever she went. She treated everyone with kindness regardless of who they were or how long she had known them. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend who was very devoted to her family. She will be tremendously missed. Her Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday March 30, 2023 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr, Pekin, IL. with Rev Jim McClarey officiating. A visitation will be held the night prior from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 also at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded after services. Memorials may be made to T.A.P.S.
