Linda I. Carle

Linda Irene Carle, 70 of Pekin, IL passed away at 3:47 AM Thursday, March 8, 2018 at UnityPoint Health - Methodist in Peoria. Linda was born on February 29, 1948 in Keokuk, IA to Elza & Jeanette (Witte) Glasgow. She married Ron Carle on December 24, 1970 in Keokuk, IA. He survives. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are: her husband, Ron of Pekin; four sons, Bryan Carle of Pekin, Micah (Aoi) Carle of Richmond, TX, Tyson (Nancy) Carle of Pekin and Dustin (Nicole) Carle of Pekin; eleven grandchildren, Austin, Alysa, Kaleb, Kameron, Jaxson, Felicity, Elijah, Lincoln, Landon, Elzie and Mason Carle; one great-grandson, Keenan Carle; one brother, Harold 'Fritz' (Janet) Glasgow of Silvis, IL Linda was a member of First Christian Church in Pekin where she was a former member of the church board and a youth group leader. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, crafting and cooking. Her greatest treasure and love were her grandchildren. Memorial Services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, March 16, 2018 at First Christian Church in Pekin with Rev. Hank Anderson officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 15th from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Drive in Pekin. Inurnment will be at Prairie Haven Cemetery.
