Linda Baker

Linda M. Baker, 55, of Morton, IL passed away at 9:30 AM Saturday, October 5, 2013 at UnityPoint-Methodist in Peoria after a brief illness. Linda was born on August 13, 1958 in Peoria to Harold and Rosalie (Fischer) Baker. Preceding in death is her father. Surviving is her mother, Rosalie of Pekin and sister, Diane (Len) LaLone of Pekin. Linda was Valedictorian of Green Valley High School in 1976. She retired in 2012 from the Health Services Department at Illinois Central College. She was a very active member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Morton. A service celebrating Linda's life will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, October 12 at Bethel Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM Saturday at the church. Private burial will take place on Friday at Sand Prairie Cemetery near Green Valley, IL.Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with her arrangements.
