Letch Branch

Letch Branch, 86, formerly of Pekin passed away at 7:45 am Friday, April 20, 2007 at VA Illinana Healthcare System in Danville, IL. Letch was born January 10, 1921 in Mt. Airy, NC to Andy and Lucy Branch. He married Wilma Ambrose on July 23, 1945. Surviving are: his wife of Springfield, IL; two sons, David Branch of Springfield, IL and Dean (and Myra) Branch of Pekin; one granddaughter, Kinsey (and Jonathon) Roehn of Arlington, VA. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Letch was a WW II Army Veteran having served from 1939-1945. He was a truck driver for N.E. Finch Co. of Peoria for 20 years retiring in 1978. He was a member of Teamster Local #627 of Peoria, the Teamster retirees and Three Lake Sportsman's Club of Victoria, IL. He loved to fish.
