Lawrence Tift

Lawrence C. 'Sunny' Tift II, 62, of Pekin, IL died at 6:15 PM Monday, January 31, 2011 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Sunny was born July 15, 1948 in Pekin to Lawrence C. and Bernadine (Young) Tift Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are: one sister, Jerri (Don) Tegtmeyer of Pekin; one daughter, Stacey Irons of Hanna City, IL; long time companion, Linda Hutton of Pekin. He was an auto mechanic all his life in the Pekin area and at one time owned and operated Tift Automotive.Most recently he worked at Security Services, Inc. in Peoria. He loved to fish
