Larry T. Goodwin

Larry Thomas Goodwin, formerly of Pekin, passed away on Thursday, March 10, in Arlington Heights, Illinois. For more than 50 years, Larry was the principle of L.T. Goodwin Builders, and both designed and built beautiful homes, municipal facilities, and commercial establishments that contributed to the growth of the Pekin area. Known as 'LT' to his friends, Larry was a Salvation Army volunteer and active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.He loved boating, scuba diving, and a good gin martini. He spent his later years enjoying his three daughters, Anne Neuhaus (Peter), Elizabeth Gogola(Michael), and Melissa Pannkoke (Ted), as well as four adoring grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn (nee Waldeck). A brief visitation will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, March 15, until time of funeral mass, 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 303 S. 7th Street, Pekin with Father Michael Andrejek officiating.Interment will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the American Cancer Society.For information, contact Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 309/347-4157.
