Kristia L. Goss

Kristia Goss, 74 of Pekin passed away at 3:55 pm, Monday, December 9, 2024 at OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Pekin to Ralph Richard and Donna Mae (VanDyke) Lower on December 6, 1950. She married Terry Goss on December 20, 1968. The 56 years of love they shared was a treasured gift. She was preceded in death by her mother, two brothers, Robbie and Darrel Lower, and one sister Terri. Kristi is survived by; her beloved husband Terry, three sons, Treg Goss of Pekin, Ty (Caryn) Goss of Pekin, and Trent (Rhonda) Goss of Bloomington; six grandchildren, Tyler, Tanner, Taylor, Luke, Logan and Norah; two brothers, Greg Lower of Pekin and Jeff (Lynda) Lower of Tremont; two sisters, Shelly (Randy) Beltramea of Manon, IA and Cheri (Ed) Nahn of Creve Coeur. Kristi was a member of First Christian Church. She had a tremendous passion for the charity she started for local nursing homes named You Are Loved Project, providing donations to area nursing home residents. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, baking and writing poetry. Her greatest treasure was enjoying her grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm, Friday, December 13, 2024 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, with Pastor Mark Foglio officiating. A visitation will be held two hours prior from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to You Are Loved Project. Checks must be payable to Pete Ault.
