Kelli T. Johnston

Kelli T. Johnston, 55, of East Peoria, IL passed away at 10:55 PM Saturday, September 21, 2024 at her home. Kelli was born on March 15, 1969 in Peoria, IL to Jerry and Vicki (Noe) Davidson. She married Scott Johnston on May 20, 1989 in Groveland, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are: her husband, Scott of East Peoria; two sons, Daniel (Kelsey Compton) Johnston of Cedar Rapids, IA and Jacob Johnston of Bartonville, IL; two brothers, Rob (Leeann) Davidson of Chillicothe, IL and Patrick (Elisa) Davidson of Pekin, IL; one sister, Kris Davidson of Louisville, KY. Kelli was employed by Thrift Trucking in Bartonville for twenty-three years last working Friday, September 20th. She was an active member of the Peoria Sportsman Club. She enjoyed riding in her Jeep with the top down and loved her "crazy" dogs. Later in life she found a passion for rescuing basset hounds in particular. Of all her hobbies, she was above all an extraordinarily dedicated Chicago Bears fan. However, more so than any hobby, she cherished the time she had with her family and took great joy in raising her children. Memorial services will be at Noon on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory in Pekin. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM 12:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
