Kay Limback

Kay Limback, 81, of Wilmington, NC formerly of Pekin, IL passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 in Wilmington. Kay was born on October 2, 1940 in Centerville, IA to Alfred R. and Marjorie A. (Montieth) Johnson. She married Al D. Limback on February 11, 1962 in Burlington, IA. Preceding in death are her parents, daughter-in-law, Easter Limback, one brother, Gunnar Johnson and two sisters, Wanda Wiemer and Sandra Gustafson. Surviving is: her husband, Al of Wilmington, NC; two sons, Jeffrey (Mitzi) Limback of Park City, UT and Scott (Melanie) Limback of Wilmington, NC; four granddaughters, Madeline and Ella Limback, Adrian and Emily Box. Kay was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Wilmington and a former member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Morton where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed reading mystery novels. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Monday, December 6, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Manito, IL with Rev. Tom Wirsing officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM 10:30 AM Monday at the church. Burial will be in Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Manito. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with Kays arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Meadow Lawn Cemetery.
