Kathy Pearson

Kathy J. Pearson, 61 of Pekin, passed away at 12:25 pm Thursday, November 13, 2014 at her home with her family at her side. Kathy was born July 14, 1953 in Pekin to James and Della (Antonini) Thomas.She married Randy Clinebell, they had two daughters.She married Howard E. Pearson on July 7, 2000 in Groveland. She is survived by her husband, Howard; two daughters, Melissa (Corey)Pearson of Manito, and Michelle (Kevin) Neill of Pekin; her parents, Ink and Della Thomas; one stepson, Gene (Aimee) Pearson of Marquette Heights; two step daughters, Tonya (Greg) Burris and Nichole Pearson both of Pekin; four grandchildren, Kylie Clinebell, Jarrett Pearson, Jayden and Colin Neill; five step grandchildren, Alison Burris, Ryan and Hunter Cargill, Nicholas Rowland and Brogan Pearson; one brother, Gordon (Linda) Thomas of Hopedale; and one sister, Stephenie (John) Bowman of Pekin. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Billy Fletcher. She retired from Pekin Savings in 2006 after working in several different departments, last working as an IT specialist. Kathy enjoyed scrapbooking, computers, traveling and crafting.She most enjoyed spending time with her family, children and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. Funeral service will be at 1:30 pm Monday, November 17, 2014 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr., Pekin with Father Michael Andrejek officiating.Visitation will be Sunday, November 16, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the funeral home.Cremation will be accorded after service.Private family burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
