Kathryn M. Nanninga

Kathryn M. Nanninga, 89, of rural Manito passed away at 4:06 pm Friday, August 14, 2009 at Pekin Hospital. Kathryn was born on July 10, 1920 in Kingston Mines, IL to Blaine and Manila (Gent) Saunders. She married Victor C. Nanninga on August 4, 1943 in Springfield, IL. He died on May 18, 1994. Also preceding in death is one brother. Surviving is: two sons, Kip Nanninga of Manito, IL and Tim Nanninga of Altamont, NY; two daughters, Vickie Nanninga of Abbottstown, PA and Leslie (Russell) Watson of Green Valley, IL; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Kathryn was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, reading and sewing. She was a receptionist at Keystone Steel and Wire Company for 15 years retiring in 1982.
