Kathleen J. Mott

Kathleen J. Mott, 69, of Pekin, IL passed away at 10:14 AM Sunday, July 16, 2023 in the emergency room at Carle Health Pekin Hospital. Kathy was born on July 19, 1953 in Bloomington, IL to Leslie Keith and Judith (Hasty) Riddle. She married Robert Mott Jr. on September 12, 1993 at Brock Lake in Mackinaw, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bret Riddle and Tom Riddle. Surviving are: her husband, Bob of Pekin; two children, Josh Mott and Holly (John Williams) Mott both of Pekin; two grandchildren, Brady Sanford and Nadiyah Williams both of Pekin; two sisters-in-law, Brenda Riddle of Tremont, IL and Cathy Riddle of LeRoy, IL; four nieces and nephews, Tjay Riddle, Dustin (Melissa) Riddle, Holly (Cole Falco) Riddle and Travis (Morgan Dial) Riddle; twelve great nieces and nephews. Kathy was employed at Caterpillar, Inc. for thirty-six years retiring in 2011. She was a member of Pekin Eagle Lodge Arie #1869 and UAW 974. She was a die-hard Cub fan. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandchildren, Brady and Nadiyah and spoiling all her nieces and nephews. A celebration of Kathys Life will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the William Schaefer Post #44 American Legion. Interment will be at a later date at Glendale Memorial Gardens. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with Kathys arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
