Kathleen M. Jost

Kathleen Maureen Jost, 93, passed away on November 18, 2024. Born on June 29, 1931 in Pekin Illinois, Kathleen lived a life marked by her fun-loving spirit, curiosity, and optimism. Her personality was vibrant; she was known for her humor, stories, and generosity. Kay loved to travel to experience new places and foods. She was a lifelong reader. She hunted mushrooms and picked wild blackberries with her kids. She shot team skeet competitively alongside her husband. She did early mainframe computer card entry for Latournel's, was a realtor for Mauer and Matthew Realty, and kept the books for Jost Construction. Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Jost and her brother Don. She is survived by her daughters, Denise Jost, Laura Gulick, and Lisa Mullett; and her grandchildren, Alyson, Eric, Sarah, Madison, Dexter, and Aidan. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr., Pekin, IL.
