Kathleen A. Fico

Kathleen A. Fico, 73 of Pekin, IL formerly of Chicago, passed away at 12:45 pm Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at her home. Kathy was born on September 18, 1942 in Chicago to Walter and Ruth (Strain) Andrews. She married Antonio Fico in 1970. He passed in 1983. She also was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Walter. Kathy is survived by one son, Antonio 'Tony' (Dayna) Fico of Mapleton, IL; one sister Delores Rentner of Plainfield, IL; one granddaughter, Isabella Fico of Mapleton, IL; and best friend Judy Jacobek of Pekin, IL. Kathy was a registered nurse at St. Francis Hospital & Health Center in Blue Island, IL, retiring in 2008. She enjoyed gardening, sewing crafts, and working jigsaw puzzles. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. Private funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Inurnment will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Pekin, IL.
