Katherine Parish

Katherine Parish, 87 of Manito, went to her heavenly home at 9:34 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015, in the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents Bickley and Katie Carter Casada, one daughter Barbara Barnett, three brothers, and four sisters. Katherine is survived by her loving husband of 70 years Willie Joe of Manito, two sons, Danny (Jane) Parish and Troy (Debra) Parish; five grandchildren, Kim (Derek) Olar, Melissa Barnett, Matthew Parish, Jacob Parish, Brady Parish; two great grandchildren, Andrew and Damien; and one brother Arcy Casada. Katherine and Joe attended The Lighthouse Church of God in Pekin. She enjoyed gardening, working in her flower beds, crocheting, sewing, and watching her grandsons play sports. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at Henderson Funeral Home and Crematory 2131 Velde Drive Pekin, IL.The Rev. Keith Moore and Pastor Rayford Black will officiate.There will be no visitation.Interment will take place in Lakeside Cemetery.
