Katherine S. Kelly

Katherine S. Kelly, 68, of Pekin, IL passed away at 5:15 PM Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Unity Point Health Methodist in Peoria, IL. Katherine was born on July 31, 1951 in Springfield, IL to Arthur L. and S. Louise (Troxell) McHenry. She married Robert E. Kelly on December 21, 1974 in Pekin. She was preceded in death her parents and one sister, Christine. Surviving are: her husband, Robert of Pekin; one son, Shaun Arthur Emmett Kelly of Pekin; one brother, Joseph (Diane) McHenry of East Peoria, IL and one sister, Linda J. (Donald) Ray of Waco, TX. Katherine had worked at St. Paul Wonderland Day Care at assistant director and teacher. She was a member of Lighthouse Church of God. She enjoyed reading, sewing and cooking. A private funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory. Private internment will be on Monday, March 23, 2020 at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, IL. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Dream Factory.
