Karen Ann Stauthammer

Karen Ann Stauthammer, 74, of Pekin, IL went to be with her Lord at 2:32 PM Sunday, April 3, 2022 at her home. Karen was born on November 27, 1947 in Pekin to Oscar P. and Amelia E. (Heberer) Stauthammer. She was preceded in death by her parents. Karen was a member of Pekin Bible Church in Pekin, where she attended Sunday School, Various Bible Studies, Care groups, evangelism classes and served on various committees at her church. Karen graduated form Pekin Community High School and Elkhart Institute of Technology in Elkhart, IN, graduating as a dental assistant. She was employed by C&IM Railroad for twenty-two years as an operator and a clerk and previously worked for Central Telephone Company and Pekin Energy. Karen enjoyed traveling, fishing, camping, playing Euchre and pinochle, watching and feeding her hummingbirds, and many earlier years of ballroom dancing, along with taking numerous dance lessons. Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a memorial service at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Chad Nightengale officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM 11:00 AM Saturday, April 30th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
